The Brown Bag Series include nine sessions by celebrated experts on dynamic aspects of Idaho history, covering a wide range of topics of interest to a variety of age groups.

The Brown Bag programs take place the second Tuesday of every month from September through May from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Idaho State Historical Museum – except when the museum is unavailable and an alternate site is used. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch; coffee and punch are provided. Members of the Friends of the Museum and the Idaho State Historical Society are admitted free to the Museum and the Brown Bag Series. For non-members, regular admission fees apply: $4 for seniors, $5 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12 and students (with ID), children 5 and under are admitted for free.
